Selling Mat's art to share his creativity and raise money for cancer research

Mat is my partner and my soulmate. His presence endures in the work that he has left behind and the people that he has touched during his wonderful but short life. I have set up this foundation to celebrate Mat's life, share his work, and to raise money for scientific research to improve the outcomes of Brain Cancer. I have curated the works of Mat for print, drawing on his digital legacy to keep the information alongside each piece true to what he made. I miss him dearly, but he remains by my side always.

I am Mat's niece, and I used to love painting with Mat. I am delighted to be able to help share Mat's art with others through this foundation, raising money for important research. Although Mat is no longer with us, his artwork is a beautiful memory for all of us.
Mat
The late Dr Matthew (Mat) Simpson was a self-taught artist, trained chemist, and teacher. His work unpicks visual scenes or scientific models to create abstract paintings, usualy working with oil or acrylic paint. Despite this sometimes creating contrasting themes in his portfolio, all of his work is distinguishable through its innovative style and use of colour.
